APPLICATION TO HONG KONG OF IO CONVENTION 141 RURAL WORKERS ORGANISATIONS

1. In your letter (13) in SS 141/3/5683/58 of 21 September you asked that a declaration of "applied without modification" should be made in respect of Convention 141.

There is a technicality arising from Article 3(2) of the Convention about which we have a slight doubt and we are seeking clarification from the ILO. Subject to a satisfactory reply on this point we shall forward a declaration in the terms you have proposed.
