I have been asked to reply to your letter of 6 February to the Prime Minister conveying the terms of a resolution passed by your Trades Council on the export of toys from Hong Kong. However, 1 understand that you also asked for the views of the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary and that my colleague in this Department, Mr Duffy, replied on his behalf on 23 February.
Under these circumstances, I have nothing to add to Mr Duffy's letter.
