The Walled City lies partly within a zone restricted by a

170 feet P.D. height limit and partly within another restricted by a

150 feet P.D. height limit. For the purpose of the present classifi-

cation, buildings which straddle the line between the two zones have

been regarded as being governed by the 170 feet P.D. limit. It should

also be noted that the B.0.0. survey was conducted on the basis of

imperial units and although the current Hong Kong Airport (Control of

Obstructions) Order has since been metricated, imperial units are used

throughout this paper.
