undertake quality control surveillance during the

manufacture, programme and scheduling of the UK

activities;

provide advice on the services required within a coal-fired plant. (If requested, the National Coal Board would act as "coal advisers" to CLP/PEPCO, providing advice on coal qualities and supplies.)

assist in the training and development of staff in the period up to commissioning and provide appropriate

assistance during the commissioning period;

arrange for the secondment of senior operational staff to CLP/PEPCO in accordance with CLP/PEPCO's manpower planning policy;

support the training and development of CLP/PEPCO staff

to operate the power station as needed over an agreed period, including the provision of a purpose-made

operation training simulator;
