I am in receipt of your post-card post-marked the 3rd. instant. The laconic reply therein that "the matter is receiving attention" is, to my mind, ominously vague.

With reference to my letter of the 2nd instant, I hasten to inform you that, due to a typing error, the penultimate paragraph thereof should be amended to read as follows:

"Failing to see prompt action taken by your Department,

I shall have no option but to appeal to the Governor in accordance with Section 16 of the above Ordinance"
