Dear Sir,
Animals & Plants (Protection of Endangered Species) Ordinance No. 63 of 1976 and
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance
As you see from the enclosed documents, I am very concerned that the Animals & Plants (Protection of Endangered Species) Ordinance and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance should be enforced. I have asked the relevant authority, the Director of Agriculture & Fisheries, to take action on the basis of my affidavit, and have been unable to get any satisfactory reply.
In this particular case, I am anxious to know what happened to the endangered species owls and birds of prey, and also
-
the leopard cat with the damaged paw - which I saw.
**
I therefore appeal to you to see that the necessary action is taken; I apologise for bothering you with this affair, but it seems to be only the "tip of the iceberg",
can see no other way of getting the legislations enforced.
Yours faithfully
Camille You.
