AGREEMENT

BETWEEN THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMUNITY AND HONG KONG ON TRADE IN TEXTILE PRODUCTS

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COWUNITIES,

of the one part, and

TIE COVERMENT OF HONG KONG,

of the other part,

RECOGNISING the importance of trade in textile products between the European Economic Community (hereinafter reforred to as the "Community") and Hong Kong,

HAVING REGARD to the Arrangement regarding International Trade in Textiles (hereinafter referred to as "the Geneva Arrangement") and in particular to Article 4 thereof and to the text of 24 July 1977, known as "COM/TEX/W/44"

HAVE DECIDED to conclude this Agreement and to this end havo designated' as their Plenipotentiaries,
