I hereby confirm the receipt of tha
following letter :
"Please refer to the Agreement between the European Economic Community and Hong Kong on trade in textile products initialled between the two parties on 3 December 1977.
Pursuant to Article 5 paragraph 6 of the said Agreement hereby notify you that Hong Xong will have recourse to the provisions of Article 5 paragraph 3 of the said Agreement up to the applicable sits during the period 1 January 1978 to 31 December 1982.
I ehould be grateful if you would acknowledge
receipt of this letter".
