Parallel measures will be taken in respect

of countries which are not signatories of the F to take effect from 1 January 1978 in accordance with the relevant legal instruments in each case and in such a way as to respect the principles leid dorm in Article 8(3) of the FA,

Imports of the products concerned from any

country not subjected to restraints will be closc monitored. If the monitoring shows that imports from any such country are likely to aggravate the situation of market disruption for those products the Community rill immediately initiate action similar to that described in paragraphs (e) to (i

above.

The Community will inform its negotiating partners in Geneva of its intentions in relation to the

highly sensitive products as described above and

will seek to obtain clear confirmation from its

negotiating partners that such action is in

conformity with the new agreement. If such confirmation is not forthcoming, it will seek

modification of the MPA so as to make this

possible.
