Not later than 1 November 1977 the Community will
request consultations with all the other supplying
countries of the products in (b) above which are
signatories of the MFA end which have been identified
in the assessment described in (c) above. The
Community will indicate in its request the levels
et which exports of the products concerned should
he restrained in 1978.
In the course of the consultations the Community
will ensure that the quotas to be established are
consistent with the overall levels which have been
determined for total imports from all sources for
the products at (b) above.
If,
on 1 January 1978, there has been no agreement
on the Community's request for an export restaint,
the Community will get to ensure that imports during
the year 1978 do not exceed the levels which have
been notified to the countries envisaged by (e) and
(f) above.
