Crew members of Soviet vessels must be specially photographed by the Hong Kong Immigration Authorities;

Immigration officials board ships late at night to call the role;

d. Crews of passenger vessels, must be reduced by 50%

and of cargo vessels by 25% (1.e. presumably while their ships remain in port). Crew members displaced in this way are repatriated by the first Soviet vessel leaving, irrespective of its port of destination.
