Under the Home Ownership Scheme, 42,000 flats are to be built for sale in the next 9 years. Eligibility for the Scheme will initially be dependent on income (up to $3,500 worth) or surrender of the existing tenancy regardless of income
Primary Education
Two working parties have been set up to examine the quality and future of primary education, and the services for children below primary school age
Junior Secondary Education
From September 1978 there will be a junior secondary school place for all primary school leavers. Attendance will be compulsory for 12-13 year olds
