4. 1977:
The Planning Paper sets out the following targets for

(a)
one rest day a week for manual workers;
(b)
a reduction in the maximum hours of overtime for 16 and 17 year olds (from 200 hours to 150);
(c) four additional statutory holidays with pay;
All these have been reached.

These are being circulated to interested Departments with the request that they inform HKD of any points they would like Subjed to raised at the next Committee meeting.

7. At first sight all this points very broadly to an agenda of the following items:
(1) A report on matters arising from the minutes of
the last meeting of the Standing Committee and from the record of Lord Goronwy-Roberts' conversation with the Governor (except those in agenda items 2-5)
(2) The Budget
(3) The Turner Study
(4) The Deputy Secretary (Information) project

ideas I have listed in paragraph 6 above).
