On 19/1/77 at about 3100 p.m. I was at work in Road Town. I went home
to East End bout 3.30p.m. Then I went to Beef Island at about 3.45 p.m. I
went by landroveri Nathaniel Penn and Obel Penn were with me. Nathaniel
is my brother and Obel is my father. At Beef Island, I went to Burmister
house about 4.00 p.mi I saw the accused there under a tree. We went towards
him and he started to run. I and Nathaniel went after him. We did not catch
him. He ran westwards. I went to the airport to get police. I got P/c
Glasgow and P/c Glasgow and I went to Burmister House. Nathaniel Fenn and
Stella Glasgow were there. P/c Glasgow and I went to the east to look for
the accused. We met P/c Blyden over the other side of the hill. P/c Blyden
and I came back towards Burmister's house and then we went down a track.
We saw the accused up tree. P/c Blyden told him to come doŵni I turned
off, and went back to the house.

When I came back from calling the police I met Nathaniel with a pellet
When we left home to go to Beef Island Nathaniel did not have a gun.
The gun did not belong to Nathaniel. It belonged to a guest at Burmister's
house. The guest's name is Ramon Burmister. I usually go hunting too. We dont use a gun when we go hunting. Nathaniel did not tell me why he
armed himself with a gun.

On 19/1/77 I was at East End Police Station at about 9.20 a.m. P/C
Pickering came and made a report. As a result, I made an entry in the
diary
and went on enquiries at Evelyn Rabsatt's shop. I got the the
shop at about 9.30 a.m. I entered the shop. I observed blood stains 30
leading from the distance of the shop door to the kitchen. The blood stains
were on the floor.
