I closed my manifest. Then I found that the plane was 300 pounds over- 10
weight. I announced the flight hoping to take off the 300 pounds in baggage.
The passengers boarded. the aircraft including the accused. The plane was
bound for St. Maarten and Guadeloupe. We were taking off the baggage.
did no get enough weight taken off so I asked the accused to deplane. He
came off the plane and we walked back to the terminal together. I went b ck 15
to my counter and gave accused back his ticket and departure tax.
He told me
to keep them until the next day. I kept them. He kept his passport. The
plane left.
Later that day, after 1.00 p.m. I gave the departure tax and the ticket
to the police.

age 21 years. Know accused.
On 19/1/77 I went to Major Bay School about 8.45 a.m. Then I went to
Beef Island about 9.30 a.m. to hunt goats. I was on foot.
I had 3 dogs
for hunting. When I was returning home about 11.45 a.m. while still at
Beef Island I heard a sound of someone running. I looked to see who it
was. The dogs took off at the sound. I saw it was the accused running on
the street towards the Bluff. I asked him what he was doing there.
