I am a teacher I live at East End, Know accused. Knew deceased.

My school was on the opposite side from Mrs. Rabsatt. Ethleen Thomas

lived near to the school.

On 19/1/77, I went to school. Got there about 8.30 a.m. School 10

was to be called in at 9.00 a.m.

I remember seeing Ethleen Thomas on her porch. I remember

seeing someone running towards a house in which the sister of the

accused lived. This was about 2 minutes after I got to the school.

The person was running on a track that led to the house from the

public road. The person was about 50 yards from me from here to

outside the gate. I did not have a clear view of the person. Trees

obstructed my view. The person I saw was a man. The person was

wearing a blue shirt like pullover. It was a fair-skinned person. When I saw the person he was about from here to the dock from accused's

sister's house,
