I have a pit toilet outside.

I keep it locked. It was for

my family. The pit was nearer to where the accused lived than where I lived.

There is a road infront of my gate. It leads to the main road. The main

road is about 25 yards away from my gate.

I know accused well. We have worked together. On 19/1/77, I left my

home about 7:15 a.m. I saw accused standing infront his door on a round stone

wall. He was looking in the direction of Rabsatt's house.

Rabsatt is dead.

When I saw accused,,he was about from here to the dock from me.

He was

wearing a blue jersey and a brown pants.

These are the clothes accused was wearing. I have seen accused in them

several times.

I went to East End to Watkin Frett's shop. I stayed there a while and

then left for the clinic. This is walking westward. Then I left the

clinic. I was walking westward and I saw accused, This was about 8.45 s.m. 15

Accused was wearing a black pants and white jersey. He was walking fast.

He had something in his pocket. We said howdye.

went home about 12.15 p.m. I was packing a small suit case with some clothes

to go back to the hospital. I opened my back door to get some clothes,

from the line. I saw some clothes beside my latrine. They were the blue

jersey and brown pants. I saw they had blood on them.

the main road. The clothes I saw by the latrine belong to accused.

He had

them on the morning at 7.15 a.m. They were then clean (at 7.15 a.m.).

The apartment where accused lived had a flush toilet.
