These are the clothes I saw accused wearing that morning.

I used to see accused at the deceased's shop and walking along the wond

with his brother-in-law and sister. I have seen accused watching T V and

playing pool at deceased's shop. I have played pool with accused.

I was going westward and accused was going eastward. We crossed and

he went by the gate. I was going west. I dont know where accused went

afterwards,

I was on one side of the road and he was on the other. I was on the low 10

side of the road and he was on the other side of roadi He crossed the road and

went to the gate.

Re Xd When I say I was in the low side I mean on the sea side of the road.

To Jury. I have never served anybody in deceased's shop.

Cpl. of police No. 27 stationed in Road Town.

On 19/1/77 at about 1.00 p.m. I went to Peebles Hospital to the morgue.

Dr. Smith was with me. AT the morgue,

I saw the deceased Evelyn Rabsatt.

Around her neck was a string. It was red from blood stains.

I untied the

said cord, kept it in my custody and later handed it to Sgt. Malone.

I lived with my wife and step daughter, Betty Adams in one apartment.
