clothed in the raiment it was in the previous day. The clothes were
then removed and external examination was made. I obsereved the
following injuries -
(1) On the left hand, there was a cut over the forth metacarpal about
1⁄2 inch in length.
(2) There was a cut over the fifth metacarpal.
(3) There was a "V" shaped cut on the edge of the hand about 1 inch
deep.

(4) There was a cut on the palm about 1 inch in length and 1⁄4 inch deep.
There were cut on the left hand.
(5) There was a cut by the right temple about 11⁄2 long and 1⁄2 inch deep.
(6) There was a cut behind the lobe of the right ear abunt 1⁄21⁄2 inch and
1 inch deep.
(7) There was a cut about and behind the the left ear about 1⁄2 inch
long and 1⁄2 inch deep.
(8) There was another out above the left ear 1⁄2 inch long and 1⁄2 inch
deep.
(9) At the back of the head there was cut 1⁄2 inch long and 1⁄4 inch deep.
(10) There was a transverse laceration at the base to the neck on the
right side 1⁄21⁄2 inch and 2 inches deep.
(11) There was a vertical laceration on the back between the shoulder
blades inch long and 1 inch deep.
(12) There was another laceration on the back (in the middle) 11⁄2 inch
long and 2 inches deep.
I then opened the abdomen and found its contents to be normal.

I then opened the chest. There was a blood clot around the upper part
of the heart and blood vessel. The heart was normal but when I traced the
original of the blood the blood was coming from the vessels that were
cut at the base of the neck. The main vessel cut was the inferior
thyroid. There was extensive bleeding.
When I saw the body at 9:30 a.m. on 19/1/77, the person had died
about 15 minutes before.

The body appeared to be that of a previously healthy person She
could have spoken up to just before death.
