We discussed this yesterday in the light of a request we had received from the Lord President's Office for briefing for the Adjournment Debate. The Lord President had seen recent reports from Bermuda about the Premier's statement on his Attorney-General's interpretation of Creech Jones the exercise of the Royal prerogative.

You were present when I agreed with the Lord President's Office that, if asked about this matter, Mr Foot would simply refer to
