As regards the particular case of Mr Gaston, this has not
yet come to
to appeal, and it is impossible to predict what the
result of the appeal might be; even if it were to fail, the case still has to be considered by the Governor's Prerogative
of Mercy Committee in the British Virgin Islands.
these stages have been gone through, I do not think it would be
right for me to comment.
