MR GLASON'S REQUEST FOR COPIES OF TERRITORIAL STUDIES

1.

useful

Anne Stoddart

WIAD

Following the receipt of your comments (folio 8) on Mr Glason's request (folio 7) for:-

27/0/77.

a)

copies of completed Territorial Studies;

b)

authority to include in Organisation Departments list to Treasury details of those Territorial Studies as and when completed.

I attach a draft reply on which I would welcome your comments.

2. I have taken this opportunity (my paragraph 3) to indicate what progress there has been since my previous minute (folio 6 on HX025/501/1).

3.

Although Mr Pettitt has kindly suggested that Organisation Department may have copies of his Department's drafts I intend to respond, if you agree, to the request as it is posed "for copies of completed Studies".

4. At this stage there appears little point in involving the Treasury in this exercise - hence my paragrah 4.

5. I would welcome any comments, amendments etc which you may have on my draft.
