Mr Larmour agrees with this and has indicated that he will support, if his assistance is necessary, a case to retain Miss Daw in the Staffing Unit.

If Hong Kong Government accept responsibility for recruitment of Hong Kong staff from November we will then be able to release

Mr Bay, Grade 9, but we would not like to see him transferred until 1

Mr Hall returns from a proposed visit to Hong Kong and the Pacific. Mr Hall should return towards the end of November.

I consider that this is with any knowledge of this complicated work. insufficient expertise to ensure that Administrative, Legal and Judicial staffing matters are handled in the necessary manner.
