The rate of Construction of Housing Programmes would be slowed down indicating the possible

increases in taxes and duties

During a TV interview on 18.2.76 the Governor had answered a number of questions touching on subjects like the possibility of tax increases, the construction of public housing, the corruption problems and the gambling policies.

When asked about his retirement, the Governor said that under the current policy in the Diplomatic Service, all officers must retire at the age of 60 and he is probably of no exception.
