1. Thank you for your letter TSX 2/54 of 12 October. The
review is being handled by Derek Milton, the assistant
Tim David,
head of HKD, together with the desk officer.
Write, if
you wish, to either, but I do know that, with some ground
covered they have just completed a trawl for information
and views around Whitehall they hope very shortly to write
to your Branch. There might be merit in holding your
hand for a few days, by which time their letter should
have arrived.
