1. The secretary of Kr Clive Jenkins, General Secretary of the association of scientific, Technical and hanagerial Staffs, telephoned a few days ago to inform me as a courtesy that hr and are Jenkins would be visiting Hong Kong and Australia next month. They will be arriving by BA 844 at 1155 hours on 12 November and departing for Melbourne by flight QF 028 on 15 November. will be staying at the Hong Kong Hotel, and it was quite clear that they do not expect to receive any extraordinary treatment by Government House, Nevertheless, I am sure that you will wish to be aware of the Jenkins' visit.
2. I am writing separately to Canberra about the visit to Helbourne.
