(i) To require employers
to meet the cost of replacement of prosthesis and surgical appliances payable in workmen's compensation cases.
(ii) To require employers
to be responsible for the cost of medical
care in such cases.
To raise the wage ceiling from $2,000 to $5,000 in respect of non-manual workers (all manual workers are covered irrespective of wages earned) and to improve other benefits, including a surcharge on delayed payments of compensation and the extension of the time in which claims may be made.
To provide for workmen's compensation for workers suffering from silicosis and asbestosis.
