30. In the afternoon of 25th July, acting on information, officers of the Narcotics Bureau raided a hut in Hok Tsui Ha Tsuen, Cape D'Aguilar. The hut was empty at the time of the raid, although there were signs of recent occupation. Following a search of the hut and the surrounding area, 486.9 kilogrammes of raw opium were found in a hole in the hillside. No arrest was made. This seizure is believed to have formed part of the same consignment as that reported at paragraph 29.

31. On 16th August 1974, Police officers of the Kowloon Special Duty Squad conducted a raid at the Wo Fung Plastics Industrial Company in San Po Kong Building, Kowloon. A search of the premises revealed a total of 19.0235 kilogrammes of a mixture containing 5.086 kilogrammes of salts of esters of morphine, together with a quantity of scopolamine hydrobromide, strychnine hydro- chloride and caffeine concealed under bags of plastic goods. One of four Chiu Chau men found on the premises, LAM Ying-kin (2651/2019/0163), was charged with Possession of Dangerous Drugs for the Purpose of Unlawful Trafficking. The case is pending.
A large quantity of No. 3 heroin was found concealed under plastic goods.
