TSUI Ying-kuen, F/20 and TSUI Ying-lei, F/18.

(The Prisoner's step-sisters, married)

The step-sister expressed that the Prisoner was not a bad character as far as she could see but had no principle. He would easily trust people and would like to help others. Though she and the Prisoner were combined from two different families they were able to get along well. They treated each other like natural siblings. Nevertheless, the Prisoner might come to know with some dubious characters in the recent years.

5. KWOK Ting-shing, M/56 (Father of the deceased)

Kwok Ting-shing is an employee at the Ka Fat Company at 108, Por Tei, Kam Tin, N.T. earning about $500 a month. The deceased was the only son in the family. His mother and 2 sisters are now living in Chiu Chow, China. The deceased was an Auxiliary Police Officer he worked with his father before the incident at $300 a month. The father said he did not know how his son behaved outside nor with whom he associated. He liked to play football and sometimes mahjong games. The deceased worked for his own living without handing any money home. The deceased's father also knew the Prisoner and believed that the latter had some connection with triad society.

INTERVIEW REPORT ON THE PRISONER

The Prisoner was interviewed in the Stanley Prison on 6th January 1975. During the course of interview he did not seem to have any emotional disturbance or anxiety and was quite at ease when talking. He denied his acquaintance with the deceased which might be a lie. He said he did not join any triad society. He used to play with former school mates and teenagers living in the vicinity of Kam Tin and Yuen Long. He said he regretted for ...what he had done and wished to have his death sentence commuted

to a term of imprisonment.
