3. LUI Kan-kau, M/25 (The Prisoner's elder brother)

Mr. LUI is an assistant revenue officer at the Commerce

& Industry Department, living at No. 7, Ko Shan Road, ground floor G5, the staff quarters of the aforesaid Department. He confirmed what his parents' favourable comments about the Prisoner. But he added that the Prisoner was too easily getting friendly with people and might be a weak-willed person. But he did not have any bad habit. However, he knew very little about his activities outside.

4. CHOI So-chi, F/21 (The Prisoner's sister-in-law)

Madam CHOI married the Prisoner's elder brother last year before he was arrested and convicted of the offence of Murder. She had similar favourable comments about the Prisoner as the parents.

5. LUI Ngan-kiu, F/27 (The Prisoner's elder sister)

The sister was married and is residing with her husband and children at No. 230, Block 1, 2/F., Kai Chiu Road. She holds the similar view about the Prisoner as afore-mentioned sister-in- law. She said that the Prisoner was amiable to children, respected his parents and friendly with neighbours. His monthly assistance to the family had greatly alleviated his parents' burden.

6. Mr. William H.N. WONG (Personnel Officer of the China

Light & Power Co. Ltd)

Mr. Wong revealed that the Prisoner joined the Company in January, 1969 as a labourer and was later promoted to electrician. Before he was dismissed in June, 1972 for absence without leave he had been warned twice against his loitering at the working place during duty hours and also for absence without leave.

7. Mr. NG Kin-chiu (Supervisor of the Prisoner at the

China Light & Power Co. Ltd.)

Mr. Ng expressed that he could not recall very much of the Prisoner's behaviour as the latter had left the job for more than 2 years. But Mr. Ng was of the opinion that the Prisoner's working attitude was not one of diligent. Mr. Ng also could not remember whether the Prisoner had made any trouble or had any dispute with fellow workers.

H. INTERVIEW REPORT ON PRISONER

The Prisoner was interviewed in the Stanley Prison on 2nd October, 1974. During the course of interview he said he did not personally know the deceased. He also revealed that he had no connection with any unlawful triad society though he knew some of his friends were triad members. He showed no emotional upset or depression throughout the whole interview. He said he had the habit of playing mahjong games at times. He said he had to help to support the family especially after his elder brother was married and had established his own family.
