Reference A expressed concern about the future of 117 SU
and the continuing requirement for the route surveillance radar. In reference B I indicated that the radar would retain its status quo for the next decade.
There are no plans to alter existing arrangements and I trust the performance of the radar will not become degraded in any way. I appreciate the reliance that you place on 117, SU and will most certainly keep you informed in the future.
