HONG KONG TRAINING 1975

1. The Regiment is most anxious to utilise once again the opportunities in hong Kong for training attachments and participation in other training and sporting events.

2.

In 1975 the Regiment is interested in sending elements of Support Company, if attachments could be arranged with units in Hong kong, during the period of September November 1975.

3.

The aim of these attachments are as follows:

To train specialist soldiers in their skills away from a jungle environment.

b.

To afford these soldiers experience of a foreign environment.

Combat Engineer Platoon

(1) To Gurkha Engineer Regiment in 2 parties, each 2 sections of 10 men, for 4 to 6 weeks for each party.

(2) The detailed aim should be to train soldiers in CEɓ 11 and/or B 11 skills with equipments not readily available in Brunei.

Armed Car Platoon

(1) To 2RTR, as an overall total of 30 men in one 01" two parties 1or 3 weeks.
