BRUNEI TROOPS IN HONG KONG
The Royal Brunei Malay Regiment have been in the habit of arranging training in Hong Kong, and the normal practise. is for us to request clearance of this in advance from the FCO and the Hong Kong Government. I accordingly enclose a copy of the RBMR letter 02025 dated 25 February 1975 which sets out the training proposed. I should be grateful to learn whether political clearance can be given. I am copying thin letter to Donald in the Hong Kong Becretariat.
