The Marshes are also an important area for a number of passerine birds such as Great Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus), Brown and Yellow-bellicā Wren-warblers (Prinic sub flava and flaviventris), Fantail Warbler (Cisticola juncidis) and Chestnut Hunia (Lonchura malacca).
