and 50 in autumn.

Black-tailed Godwit. Limosa limosa. Small numbers on passage and in winter. Max

30 in April.

Linosa lapponica. Passage migrant in small numbers up to 12.

Linnodromus semipalmatus. First recorded in August 1967. Then recorded in September 1967, August 1970, April and September 1973, ten together in spring 1974 and one in autumn.

Green Sandipper. Tringa ochropus. Passage migrant and winter visitor. Usually

small groupe or singly but up to 25 have been recorded.

Wood Sandpiper. Tringe glareola. Up to 100 together on passage.

Common Sandpiper. Tringa hypoleucos. Most birds are recorded on passage but some

usually present throughout the year. Usually singly but groups of 20 have been recorded.

Redshank. Tringa totanus. Passage migrant with a few winter records. Up to 300

in spring and 100 in autumn.

Spotted Redshank. Tringa erythropus. Fax numbers in mid winter with up to 300.

Smaller numbers on passage.

Greenshank. Tringa nebularia. Up to 150 in mid winter. Smaller numbers on passage.

Spotted Greenshark. Tringa ruttifer.

Tringa ruttifer. Passage recorded September 1968. Two, possibly thre, records in 1971.

Marsh Sandpiper. Tringa stagnatilis. Passage migrant with up to 50+ in spring and

30 in autumn.

Grey-rumped Sandpiper. Tringa brevipes. Up to 20 in spring. Less common in

autumn.

Terck Sandpiper. Xenus cinereus. Up to 60 in spring and 25 in autumn.

Calidris canutus. Small numbers on passage. Max 16.

Great Knot. Calidris tenuirostris.
