CALL ON SECRETARY OF STATE

Sir Murray MacLehose will be calling on the Secretary of State at 9.45 a.m. tomorrow. The Governor last called on the Secretary of State on 11 April: I attach a copy of the record of that meeting. The following topics might be covered tomorrow.

The Secretary of State might ask for the Governor's impressions of his meeting with the TUC today. He might say thrib, while it was regrettable that the NEC had insisted on a separate meeting with the Governor from that arranged with the FLT, it is very useful that the Governor has managed to fit both into his crowded programme.
