The third correction will depend wholly on the Academic Advisory Committee's submissions and UPGC recommendations. is the cost of building up adequate pre-clinical and clinical library stocks. At this stage no useful estimate can be made but it is unlikely to be less than about $5m spread over about four to five years: and thereafter continuing at about $0.25m. per year.

The base for these costs are similarly the HKU medical unit costs for 1972/73. Dental unit costs per year are likely to be about the same as for medical, but the course is one year shorter.
