BAGGAGE ALLOWANCES

(i)
An officer who travels by air on the new leave terms is eligible for a baggage allowance for himself and for those members of his family who travel by air in respect of each journey to transport
This allowance is not intended household and personal effects.
to cover animals and motor vehicles or customs duty but household effects may be sent by sea within the overall cash allowance as necessary. The allowance is calculated on a weight basis at un-accompanied air baggage rates as follows :-
