20th December, 1973 and 0124 of the 11th January, 1974, and your letter of the 7th January, 1974 we would very much appreciate it if you could use your influence with the Home Office to get an early reaction.

We come into being as a Commission on the 14th February and, as indicated in my telegram of the 20th December, from the planning point of view the earlier the visit after that date the better.

Sorry to have to bother you again with this but I know you will realise that it is fairly important from our point of view.
