C. HOME ENVIRONMENT
The Prisoner's family occupies a unit flat at #239, Block 8, 2/F, Tin Wan Estate, Aberdeen of the Housing Department, paying a monthly rental of $35, where they had lived since 1964. The small cubicle is rather over crowded for such a big family, simply furnished but orderly kept. Most of the people living in that area belonged to the working class with low income relative to the size of the family
D. EDUCATION
The Prisoner claimed to have 7 years of schooling reaching a standard up to F.1 at Sam Yuk College, Tin Wan, He ceased schooling about 9 years ago due to lack of interest.
E. EMPLOYMENT
1. Apprentice in mechanic work at Sing Tat Motor Cars Co. for nearly 4 years earning about $200 a month with food and lodging provided.
2. Partner of a mechanic workshop for a few months at Wang
Chuk Hang carning about $300 per month.
3. Mechanic worker at a garage for about a year at $350 p.m.
4. Pak-pai driver for about a year from 1969-1970, with irregular
earnings.
5. Private car driver at Madam WAN Mui Mui's organization at $750 p.m.
for about 4 months before the offence.
F. ASSOCIATES
The Prisoner admitted that he had acquainted with some members of triad society but he said he did not join any of them. Most of his friends are working people of different trades. He denied he had any bad habit.

1. LIU To-sang, M/47, (The Prisoner's father)
The father expressed that the Prisoner was an obedient boy before. He was rather steady in work especially during the first several years after coming out to work. The father was also of the opinion that the Prisoner was not an aggressive character before.
2. HỌ Kam-ho, F/47, (the Prisoner's mother)
The mother stated that the Prisoner had been a helping hand to the family since coming out to work. Though he used to stay at the place of work he used to return home to see the family several times a month. She was also of the opinion that the Prisoner was an obedient
