Lord Goronwy-Roberts will be visiting the colony from

11 to 17 January. It will I think be difficult for him not to be involved whilst there in some discussion with members of SICO and others on force levels and the Hong Kong contribution. When the Governor is here later this month tactics and briefing for this will need to be carefully worked out with him.
