Thank you very much for your letter of 22 June about the appointment of Kenneth Topley as a Director of Education.
shall be very glad indeed to see him in the UK between 5 and 23 August and am writing to him at once at Tonbridge. I will arrange to meet him in London anu introduce him as widely to my colleagues in the Education Service as I can.
My colleagues and I are in touch with Andrew Sturt and his colleagues in the Department about the procedure for the appointment of the Adviser.
I am similarly copying this letter to andrew Stuart so that he is aware that Kenneth Topley will be mecting us all here.
