You wrote to me on 31 May enclosing a further letter which you had received from your constituent Mr R H W Pakenham of 25 Rothamsted Avenue, Harpenden, Herts, about cruelty to wildlife imported from China into Hong Kong.

I think this crossed with my own letter to you of 31 May, in answer to Mr Pakenham's earlier inquiry. I enclose a copy of my letter, in case the original has gone astray. I hope this will enable you to answer Mr Pakenham, whose latest letter I return herewith.
