When Mr. Blaker was in office the Governor of Hong Kong wrote to him suggesting that they might have lunch together when the Governor was on leave in June. Mr. Blaker has written to the Governor suggesting that they should have a drink or a meal in spite of the change of government, and I should be grateful if you would bear this in mind when arranging the Governor's programme in London. Mr. Blaker will obviously continue to take a live interest in Hong Kong's affairs from the Opposition Bench.
