Many thanks for your letter of 3 September, about the possibility of one of our senior recruiters visiting Hong Kong.

It was extremely helpful to have your advice and it was also timely; since I have just spent the best part of an hour with Topley, Hong Kong's new Director of Education. He also welcomed the idea of such a visit - indeed he was most receptive to it.
3. Your advice on costs is clear, and I will play this accordingly. I am able to, because I am in sole control of our travel vote.
