Incidentally, I should be glad to know whether there was any follow up to the similar visit to Vientiane by Ng Wing Chuan, a senior preventative service officer from Hong Kong in early January 1972. Our understanding at the time was that agreement was reached on continuing liaison with the Lao Marcotics Bureau (now the Groupe Spécial d'Investigation) and with the US Embassy, but the file shows no further papers.
