I have the honour to refer to my letter of the 11th of January, 1969 renewing for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and for certain territories for the international relations of which the Government of the United Kingdom are responsible the earlier declarations of recognition of the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights.
On instructions from Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, I now have the honour to inform you that the Government of the United Kingdom hereby renew, for Dominica, for the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the Isle of Man, the declaration made in my letter dated the 12th of September, 1967 by prolonging for a further three years, beginning on the 14th of January, 1969 and ending on the 13th of January, 1972, the period for the recognition of the jurisdiction of the Court which was stated in that letter. Except in relation to the date of expiry of this period, the terms of the declaration shall remain unaffected.
