My last stop was in Washington where I had valuable meetings with Mr. Elliott Richardson; the new Secretary of Defense, and Mr. Rush, the Under-Secretary in the State Department. I have not mentioned my visit to Kenya, where immigration was my principal concern, nor my discussion on that issue in Wellington and Canberra, which do not relate to the work of the D.O.P.C.
