One of the Whips, Mr. Walter Clegg proposes to visit Bangkok privately from 15th to 21st September and then fly on to Hong Kong as a guest of the Hong Kong Government from 21st to 29th September.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary has no objection so I should be grateful if you would now seek the Prime Minister's approval.
