MEMORANDUM FOR EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

VISITS OF MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT 1973

On 3rd April 1973 Honourable Members approved a recommendation that invitations should be extended to certain Conservative Members of Parliament to visit Hong Kong and were advised that a further memorandum would be submitted when nominations for visits by Labour Members of Parliament had been received.

The Hong Kong Commissioner, London, after consultation with the Chairman of the Anglo-Hong Kong Parliamentary Group, has now proposed that invitations should be extended to the following Labour Members of Parliament:

In the event that any of the above Labour Members of Parliament should be unable to accept invitations, the Hong Kong Commissioner has suggested the following Members as reserves:
